Gunboat Leonard pitched a gem to lead Philadelphia to victory over the Indianapolis Stars, 8-1. In 7.2 innings, Leonard surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Philadelphia has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

James McErvin had a big 2-run double for the Keystones in the bottom of the fourth inning. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Keystones ahead, 3-0.
