Thanks in large part to center fielder John Myers, the Buffalo Electrics beat the Pittsburgh Rollers, 7-5. Myers went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. The save went to Jeep Benson, number 2 for him. Buffalo has now won 3 straight, while the Rollers have lost 3 in a row.

Buffalo used a well-timed hit by Elliot Webb to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Electrics ahead, 7-5. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Webb. "You've got to get results."
