Black Kings Flatten Keystones, 9-1
Roy Colliers was nothing short of phenomenal for the New York Black Kings. The 29-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Philadelphia Keystones, 9-1. With the win over Philadelphia, the Black Kings improved to 40-18.

The Black Kings got an important contribution from right fielder Jim Hancock, who in the bottom of the third punched a 2-2 sinker to right-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 10th triple of the season and put the Black Kings ahead, 3-0.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Colliers.
