Clark Now 4-3 After Beating Cuban Stars
|
Charley Clark, who is tied for 9th in the GNL in wins with 4, never let the Cuban Stars get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Stars to a win, 4-0. Indianapolis has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
Clark gave Indianapolis a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Clark.
