Cleveland picked up a win at Keystones Park, toppling the Philadelphia Keystones, 4-3. Pitcher Phillie Brown was one of the reasons the Black Cats triumphed. The win gives Cleveland a season record of 19-10.

Brown gave Cleveland a solid start. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits over 12 innings.

"Phillie was throwing strikes, locating well," said Cleveland manager Jelly Thompson.
