The Buffalo Electrics topped the Indianapolis Stars, 5-3, with left fielder Slim Walton playing a big role. Walton went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Electrics in the win. The victory gives the Electrics a record of 14-12.

Ed Mosley drove in one run for Buffalo. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off James Heywood. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Mosley.
