Buffalo Nets 3-2 Win Versus Keystones
Fred Kendall, who finished 5th in the GNL in ERA with 2.29 in 1913, was locked in. The left-hander led the Buffalo Electrics to a 3-2 win against the Philadelphia Keystones at Keystones Park. In 12 innings, Kendall surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 9. He allowed 2 runs. Louis Beavers nailed down his 4th save.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the 13th, with the game tied, Hubert Wheeler was at the plate when Buffalo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Electrics to go in front, 3-2.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Buffalo manager Harry Thompson.

Buffalo is now 13-8.
