Indianapolis starter Leon Davis put a stranglehold on the Philadelphia offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Stars to a 7-1 win. The loss makes Philadelphia 10-7.

Indianapolis used the hitting of Robert Henderson to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Stars on top, 3-1. For the game, Henderson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Henderson told the Indianapolis Herald. "Whatever it takes."
