Keystones Need Extra Frames to Get Past Snappers
Philadelphia Keystones starter Fred Kendall turned in a top-notch performance against the Cincinnati Snappers at Keystones Park. The result was a win for the Keystones, 2-1. Philadelphia reliever Maywood Daniels snagged the win, upping his record to 3-0. Lawrence Williams shouldered the loss. The Snappers, now 5-9, continue their poor start.

The Keystones got a clutch hit from shortstop James McErvin. In the bottom of the 19th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Keystones.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Kendall.
