Rollers Rally Late to Nip Black Cats
The Pittsburgh Rollers picked up a win at Newman Field, taking down the Cleveland Black Cats, 1-0. Starting pitcher Bill McNeil was a big reason why. Cleveland, with the loss, is still a hardy 7-2.

Pittsburgh starter Bill McNeil pitched like a boss. The 5-foot-9 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Johnny Grant.
