Guelph Advances to World Series

The Guelph Royals are one step closer to the World Series.
The club prevailed 3-2 at Royal Palace tonight to eliminate the London Clash and advance to the World Series.
The Royals won the series by a 4-2 margin, with shortstop and series MVP Yoffry Solano leading the way.
"I'm proud of all the guys," Solano said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
The Guelph Royals will play against the Fremont Street Reapers in the next round. Fremont Street won their series against the Avalon Flying Aces 4 games to 3. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 27th , 2033.

Fremont Street Wins League Championship Series
Monday, October 24th , 2033
Fremont Street Reapers won a nail-biting series against the Avalon Flying Aces 4-3, wrapping up the League Championship Series finale 5-1 at Draft Kings Stadium.
Reapers third baseman Tim Scott was named the series MVP.
He batted .481, drove in 7 runs and scored 5 to lead Fremont Street into the next round of play.
"Tim was real solid for us, real solid," said Reapers manager Dillon Reese. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
The Fremont Street Reapers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the London Clash - Guelph Royals series. Guelph leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 27th , 2033. .
