Terres to Miss Year

The season is ending on a bad note for Luis Terres, reliever for the . It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Terres was hurt against the La Jolla Storm while throwing a pitch. He suffered bone chips in his elbow and will be out for at least 4 months.

Garland Greene Sidelined for 5 Months

When Garland Greene was hurt against the Avalon Flying Aces, the were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 23-year-old right fielder suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing the ball in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Greene would miss 5 months of the season.
