Reapers Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
|
The Fremont Street Reapers beat the Fayetteville Paratroopers, 5-4, in part because of center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Luis Briseno earned the save for Fremont Street. The loss drops the Paratroopers to 1-5.
Jordan Lawlar, who finished 5th in the BUL in stolen bases with 32 in 2025, chipped in a solo home run for Fremont Street in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Fayetteville manager Zach Halverson.
