Rattlers Pull Out Late Win, 2-1
|
The Tampa Rattlers faced a tenacious opponent in Tuah pitcher Nabil Crismatt, but still scratched out a win at The Thing at Lovense Field by a final score of 2-1 in 12 innings. Crismatt went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Adriander Bell earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The Rattlers bumped their record to 81-58 with this latest triumph.
Chris Foster, who is tied for 10th in the HDL in home runs with 25, had a direct impact on the outcome. Foster contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning to put Tampa up, 2-1.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Byrke Sestok.
