Getting a good performance from center fielder Dave Ewing, the Tampa Rattlers defeated the Big Sky Bigfoots, 7-6. Ewing was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 4 runs for the Rattlers. Tampa is now 27-29, Big Sky 26-30.

Mike Blackwell was the walk-off hero for Tampa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rattlers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Blackwell said in his postgame press conference.
