Guevara Now 4-4 Following 7-0 Win
|
David Guevara pitched a gem in leading Puerto Rico to a 7-0 victory over the Great Blue Heron. The Rockets win now puts them at 25-21.
Guevara, the winning pitcher, goes to 4-4 on the season. In 8.2 innings, the right-hander limited the opposition to no runs on 1 hit, while recording 8 punchouts. Guevara and the Rockets were able to cruise to victory.
"David went out and did what we needed," said Puerto Rico manager Jose Gaztambide.
