Reapers Win at San Diego, 5-2
|
Fremont Street pitcher Masayoshi Endo did his part in helping his team beat the San Diego Seals, 5-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Fremont Street raised its record to 27-13 with the win.
Fremont Street used the hitting of Mike McDaniel to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Reapers on top, 5-0. For the game, McDaniel had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Fremont Street manager Dillon Reese.
