Haller chalked up 12 strikeouts and gave up no walks in a game that was instantly one of the highlights of the season. The brash left-hander, who is known for a confidence that sometimes borders on arrogance, told reporters afterward that he "was the best pitcher in the league today." Palm Beach skipper Alex Guerrero said in his postgame interview that Haller "tossed a masterpiece." "Tommy likes to talk but it ain't bragging if you can back it up," he said.
