A SE Player of the Week Chosen
Monday, May 11th , 2043
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Low-A Southeast, but last week Pat Hanson of the Tampa Tarpons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hanson rocked opposing pitching for a .379 average (11-for-29), 3 home runs and 15 RBIs to come away with the award.
This season, Hanson has posted a batting average of .340 with 32 hits in 94 at-bats, 4 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has also scored 16 runs, walked 13 times and compiled a .431 OBP.
