Blue Jays End Dibble Streak Friday, August 29th , 2042 Derek Dibble of the Clearwater Threshers came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 22 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Clearwater dropped the game to the Dunedin Blue Jays, 7-1. "It was not a good day today," Dibble told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Currently Dibble is batting .315 with 41 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 18 runs and scored 18 times. |
