Cannon Ballers DeRosa Smacks 5 Hits Friday, April 17th , 2043 Sean DeRosa exploded for a barrage of base hits at Atrium Health Ballpark. The Kannapolis center fielder had a field day in his team's 14-0 triumph over the Carolina Mudcats, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." DeRosa must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Sean DeRosa singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and doubled in the 6th. |
