A E's #1 Player Named Monday, September 4th , 2045 Swinging a hot stick last week, Hector Perez picked up the Low-A East Player of the Week Award today. The 25-year-old catcher for Carolina lashed 14 hits in 26 at-bats as he put together a .538 average with 1 home run. Perez also drove in 7 runs, scored 5 times and compiled a .536 OBP. Thus far this season, Perez has hit .322 with 5 home runs, 61 RBIs and scored 35 times. |
