A W's Top Player for 2042 Named
Friday, October 17th , 2042
The manager of the Inland Empire 66ers said he thinks Doug Budin is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2042 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Low-A West Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .375 batting average and a .416 on-base percentage this year. In 125 games he piled up 188 hits, 48 doubles, 9 triples, 11 home runs, 93 RBIs and 78 runs scored.

He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Andrew Brown of the Lake Elsinore Storm finished second in voting, while Cesar Olguin of the Inland Empire 66ers finished third.
