Injury Setback for Pirates Vasquez Thursday, April 6th , 2045 Yesterday Pittsburgh left fielder Jose Vasquez sustained a setback in his recovery from a strained posterior cruciate ligament. The Pirates medical staff told him it would be at least 2-3 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Vasquez told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Vasquez worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. |
