Vasquez and Morales Suspended for Free-for-All Friday, August 14th , 2043 Sergio Vasquez of Colorado and Ruben Morales of Atlanta were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Vasquez will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Morales was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this year, Vasquez is batting .296 with 31 home runs, 89 RBIs and 75 runs scored. His record this season is 7-6 in 27 starts and Morales has a 3.88 ERA. |
