Texas Hangs 7-2 Loss on Seattle
|
No one was more impactful than Jim McGarry in the 7-2 Texas win over Seattle. McGarry, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in runs scored with 14, was 2-5 with 2 home runs. Texas reliever Mitch Leland, who led the AL in saves with 43 in 2044, was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-2. Sincere Williams took the loss for Seattle. Seattle, at 4-10, is off to a poor start in 2046.
Jamie Lones hit a run-scoring double off Sincere Williams in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Rangers in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Lones had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," McGarry told the Texas News.
