|
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Coby Rosa was in fine form, leading his team past the Boston Red Sox, 1-0. Tim Hooper picked up the win in relief for Toronto, while Dave McTighe took the loss. Toronto currently is in first place in the American League East Division at 92-57.
Johnny Sullivan contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Toronto get the win.
"Both teams played hard," said Toronto manager Jeff Anderson.
