The Cleveland Guardians bested the Minnesota Twins, 7-2, at Progressive Field. Adrian Patricio was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win went to Mike Williams in relief, making him now 5-5. Sam Aswegan took the loss for Minnesota. With the win, Cleveland pushed its record to 70-63.

Cleveland grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Patricio hit a run-scoring double off Sam Aswegan. His 26th double of the season put the Guardians out in front, 3-2.

"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Rich Wynn, the Minnesota manager.
