The New York Mets had no problem beating the Seattle Mariners, 13-2, at T-Mobile Park. Luis Martin Kindsfater led the way. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for New York. The 4th-place Mets sport a record of 59-60.

With New York leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Kindsfater hit a 2-run single off Seattle hurler Dave Lamboy. It was the 100th hit of the season for Kindsfater and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"I wish every win came this easy," said Kindsfater.
