Rangers Edge Astros, 4-3

The Texas Rangers and Houston Astros played an exciting game.
The Texas Rangers trumped the Houston Astros, 4-3, at Globe Life Field. Texas right fielder Alex Carrasco was terrific. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Brian Conner picked up the save for Texas, his 16th of the year.
Carrasco contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Texas in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Carrasco took a fastball from Jeff Merrill and stroked the home run to right. His 26th home run of the season allowed the Rangers to leap in front, 4-3.
"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Carrasco after the game.
The Rangers go to 42-71 with the win.
