Mets Get Dramatic 8-7 Triumph
The New York Mets had to overcome a big game from Atlanta left fielder Zach McIndoo to leave Citi Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-7. McIndoo was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Kevin Pranger notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-4. The Mets now have a mark of 53-53.

Chris Underwood was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd was boisterous today," said Underwood.
