The Chicago White Sox downed the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-3. The hitting star was third baseman Qian-fu Bu. Bu was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the White Sox. Chicago starter Kevin Fridel was credited with the win after throwing 87 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-7. The 4th-place Brewers now sit at 31-47.
Bu had a key at-bat for Chicago in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Chicago an early 3-0 lead.
