Watson Leads Braves to 18-8 Win Over Rockies
The Atlanta Braves topped the Colorado Rockies by a score of 18-8. Leading the way was third baseman Robbie Watson. Watson went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 5 for the Braves. The win went to Jon Figueroa in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Sergio Vasquez took the loss. The Braves sit in third place in the National League East Division with a record of 31-24.

Watson contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Atlanta in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-2, Watson took a slider from Sergio Vasquez and stroked the home run to left. His 16th home run of the season allowed the Braves to leap in front, 6-5.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Atlanta skipper Chris A.
