Red Sox Squelch Brewers Offense in Shutout Win
|
Boston third baseman Alexis Coronado made his presence felt in the 6-0 Red Sox triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers. Coronado was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Boston pitcher Dimian Lemos got the win. He's now 4-1. Randy Tormey was tagged with the loss. This win makes it 5 in a row for Boston.
Early in the game, Coronado had a 3-run home run for Boston. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Red Sox on top, 3-0.
Coronado attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
