Troger Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, May 28th , 2053 Kolomon Troger really sizzled at the plate in his team's 12-5 win over the Czech A Foresters. The Gebze first baseman blistered Czech A for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Troger was too tough to get out today," the Foresters skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Kolomon Troger singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Adam Gawrych in the 9th. For the season, Troger is batting .377 with 66 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 40 times and batted in 30. |
