Red-Hot Lloyd Scorches Underdogs Sunday, April 24th , 2050 Jay Lloyd had an answer for everything the Yekaterinburg HS Underdogs threw at him at Underdogs Stadium. The Prague HS right fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Bighorns a win, 6-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Lloyd said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jay Lloyd singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season, Lloyd has banged out 42 hits in 149 at-bats for a .282 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .363 pace and his totals also include 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
