He may have less experience than most of his ELB High School peers, but that didn't slow Hedde Bruins down at all in 2052.
At the age of 16, the Hamburg HS center fielder has been named the winner of the Conference 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .423 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage this year. In 37 games he piled up 58 hits, 5 doubles, 3 triples, 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 32. Kolomon Troger of the Hamburg HS Red Wings finished second in voting with 13 first place votes, while Gilles Philippe of the Minsk HS Engineers finished third.
