The Stockholm Valkyries beat the Rome Wolves by a score of 6-4. Stockholm right fielder Christopher Rhodes deserved the lion's share of the credit. Rhodes went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Valkyries. Stockholm reliever Fadeyka Mnatsakanyan picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Louwe Muller was tagged with the loss. With the win, Stockholm upped its record to 37-35.

Rhodes had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from Phil Edwards, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Valkyries a 6-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Rhodes.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Rhodes.
