Behind the bravura of designated hitter Jonas Head, the Iceland Vikings topped the Cork Poppers by the score of 8-6. Head was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Vikings. Vasily Dahov, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7.
