The Cork Poppers saddled the Belfast Zephyrs with a loss at The Pub up north. The final score was 11-6. Liviu Moldovan was 4 for 5, including 2 singles and 2 home runs. Cork used a well-timed hit by Norman Dillhoff to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Poppers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Dillhoff told the Cork Chronicle.
