|
Konrad Martin victimized Monaco Mashers hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the Eastern Bloc record books.
In an epic hitting spree at Munching Grounds, the Krakow first baseman went downtown again and again, leading the Lions to a win, 10-2. He went 4-for-5, drove in 6 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.
"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."
