Rhodes Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-0 Valkyries Triumph
The Stockholm Valkyries dealt the Helsinki Northern Lights a 6-0 loss at Northern Lights Grounds. Christopher Rhodes, who is tied for 6th in the WB in triples with 1, was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Sepi Schleicher picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Rafael Martinez suffered the loss. The Northern Lights, 11-12, continue their so-so start to the 2053 season.

With Stockholm leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Rhodes hit a slider from Rafael Martinez for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Valkyries ahead, 4-0.

Rhodes attributed the win to his team's "determination."
