Vienna starter Casimir Kulma put the Czech offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his cutter in leading the Sausages to a 2-0 win. The loss drops the Swings to 9-6.

The decisive blow was delivered by Miguel Plascencia in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Hiroshi Morioka to win the game for Vienna. The home crowd went nuts.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Kulma.
