Swings Make It 4 Straight with 5-2 Win

The Czech Swings stopped the Crimea Rivers, 5-2, at Jan Hus Memorial Stadium. The Swings got a big game from Bernard Ollivier, who was 3-4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Alexandre Vial earned the win for Czech. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 1-1. Aldon Helinski nailed down his 5th save.
The Swings got a big at-bat from catcher Noe Trevino. For the game, Trevino was 2 for 3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Czech a 3-2 lead.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Trevino told the Czech Times.
For Crimea, now 2-10, the season is off to a dismal start.
