Raucous Highland Hearth Crowd Propels Highlanders to 8-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2
|
The Edinburgh Highlanders defeated the Warsaw Waves, 8-4, in Game 4 of the Cup Series. Making an impact was shortstop Tony Rabago, who was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win moves Edinburgh into a 2-2 tie with Warsaw in the series.
Madrid, Spain native Tony Rabago had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Highlanders. With Edinburgh trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Rabago.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Highland Hearth in Edinburgh.
