Series Lead Trimmed to 1 for Edinburgh After 5-2 Setback
The Stockholm Valkyries have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Edinburgh Highlanders, winning, 5-2, at Valhalla. Valkyries right-hander Sepi Schleicher threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Valkyries to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Chaos Series.

Zygmunt Skotniczna, the 14th overall pick in the 2047 draft, aided the Stockholm cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4.

Stockholm manager Xeric Smith commended his team for "banging out a nice win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Valhalla in Stockholm.
