Campbell and Dilling Fight, Suspended 3 Games
Thursday, April 15th , 2004
Jeff Campbell of the Grayton Beach Gangsters was not happy with Ray Dilling, and his frustration showed when he went after the Palm Harbor player during yesterday's game at Grayton Beach Grounds. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Campbell and Dilling were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.

Both players were suspended 3 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.

"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Campbell commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."

On the year, Campbell has hit .419 with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 6 runs.
