Season Over for Oscar Altamirano in Houston (DSL) Monday, August 17th , 2043 Oscar Altamirano of the Astros just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Houston (DSL) starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 2 recently at Tampa Bay Rays Complex. Altamirano suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Astros medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year, Altamirano has compiled a 1-4 mark with a 4.75 ERA. |
