Detroit (DSL) Shuts Out Los Angeles (DSL), 10-0 Sunday, July 17th , 2039 It wasn't easy but Leon Caballero made it look that way. Caballero silenced the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Guerrero, 10-0, in a Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1 triumph at Las Palmas Complex today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Caballero said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 9 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." Checking out his stats for the season, Caballero has racked up 1 win and 5 losses in 8 starts, posted a 6.21 ERA, and struck out 32 batters in 37.2 innings. |
