Lawson 5-for-7 Against Quad Cities Friday, July 4th , 2042 Joe Lawson did a number on the River Bandits in the 3-2 Burlington victory -- and the number was 5. The Bees catcher banged out 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Community Field to lead his club past the Quad Cities River Bandits. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Joe Lawson singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th and singled in the 15th.
